Joyce Griffin Aviation has been a part of Joyce’s life for a long time, having live on various Air Force bases for 18 yeas with her husband Robert.

Ms. Griffin, the chairperson of the scholarship selection committee of her local chapter, had decided at one point to become a pilot. However, the demands of being a wife and mother of five limited her to just several flights as a student pilot.

Ms Griffin served as host for the first meeting of BPA and served on the Skyhook committee since 1998. Ms Griffin has also been a Chaperone for the BPA Summer Fight Academy since 2004.
