Membership Classes
There are five (5) classes of membership in BPA, each with annual dues requirements, which must be arranged through the local BPA Chapters. Each chapter has it’s own dues structure and pricing – please contact your local chapter for details and amounts.
- Regular
- Honorary – Honorary members shall be those persons invited to become such at the absolute discretion of the BPA Board of Directors. Such persons will continue to hold this status for such period as the Board of Directors may direct.
- Associate
- Student – Student membership shall be opened to any full time student, 23 years old or younger, attending an accredited institution. Student Members shall be eligible to vote and shall posses rights in and to the property and assets of the organization so long as the requirements of Regular Membership are met.
- Family – Family membership shall be open to spouses, dependent children, dependent step-children, and legal wards of Regular Members.
NOTE: If you are RENEWING your membership, be sure to include your BPA Member Number on the application when you submit it.
How to Join Black Pilots of America
Becoming a member of BPA is simple and rewarding. Follow these steps to get started:
Step 1: Complete the Application
Download and fill out the BPA Membership Application. Be sure to complete all required fields and indicate your membership class.
Step 2: Send Your Application to a Local Chapter
Find your nearest BPA chapter and submit your completed application directly to them. If you’re unsure of your local chapter, visit our Chapter Directory or contact us for guidance.
Step 3: Wait for Next Steps from the Chapter
Your local chapter will contact you with details regarding your membership approval, dues, and how to get involved.
